I’m sure many of you have changed computers and wanted all your data including music on the new machine. Me too.
I copied music onto a flash drive from the old laptop, and then moved those files to My Music on the Netbook. They show up, but Windows Media Player can’t seem to find them. I’ve googled until I’m blue in the face with no answers. I’ve wasted way too much time on what should be an easy task. Is there anybody out there can help?

What a drag. I hope you can figure it out or get the help you need.
I know nawthing!!!
All I can say is "Good Luck". MB
...ummmm..mmmpff. Sorry I never can figure out the music stuff. Good luck.
Were your original songs in iTunes or Windows media? Would a USB transfer work better than the flash drive? Pull up Windows media player on the new computer, make a new file and then try transferring? I feel your frustration!
Take some deep breaths, take a break and try again later. Don't get stressed out and sick before your vacation to South AFrica!!!
Oh Gaelyn, that is so frustrating. Only thing I could think of (then I saw Loran suggested it) was to use a USB instead of the flash drive. Hope you come right.
I tried to transfer my music files to a new computer awhile back, but ended up unable to open any of them.
So, I'm no help. Sorry!
I can do an internet search and look for answer Gaelyn...
