I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Wow Gaelyn! That is so beautiful and I love the angles of your shots!
Those were really fantastic shots! What a great tour. I know what you mean about sometimes these places are too crowded but it's worth doing anyway, don't you think?
Girl, you got some awesome photos n your tour. I need a new camera! and when I get one, I will be going back on this tour for more photos.
I have to agree with you Gaelyn, that truly remarkable and special place can only be appreciated with those who respect it and in solitude. Your beautiful photos take my breath away and express the spirituality of place. Thank you so much for sharing.
Blessings and peace.
Awesome photos, Gaelyn! I must admit looking at the entrance makes me a little weak in the knees. I'm so grateful to enjoy the canyon through your pictures though.
Sound made by wind through that place must be spooky.
Thanks for visiting my Pick a Peck of Pixels b log and for commenting about the stag beetle.
These are so awesome, I am at total loss of words Gaelyn!! Never in my life have I seen such fantastic formations and colors!!
The colors of the walls are beautiful with the sunlight shinning on them. What a magnificent place to visit, thanks for the wonderful journey, Gaelyn.
I've never been there and didn't realize the tours had so many people going through at once.
Your photos are gorgeous. I love the light pouring through the slot, illuminating and shadowing the rock.
Mesmerizing and surreal. Your pictures are wonderful, Gaelyn. (The truck drive would have done me in though!)
Wow Gaelyn, your pictures are awesome. The shapes, color and light are just gorgeous. Now, I have another place to add to my list of must visit. Thanks for sharing your world.

From a photographer for a living, some incredible photography. The light and colours in there perfectly balanced.
I'd say your photo tour was a huge success - really lovely photos. But then you can't go wrong with all those rock formations swirling.
Never knew they did photo tours.
Oh WOW!!!! I am so jealous. That looks like and absolutely amazing and magical place. How I wish right now to be able to go and see that one day.
wonderful captures gaelyn...beautiful canyon.
well worth the tour price i'd say.

Gaelyn: That is certainly one of the WOW places on earth. I see why it is scared to the Indians. Thanks for the trip through.
This was just out of this world. An amazing place. I'd say it has a WOW factor of 10! Thank you!
I could feel the presence of the Great Spirit--even in your photos. Awesome place. What an experience. MB
These all are absolutely mesmerizing. What a wonderful experience but I agree, it would be a powerful place in silence.
WOW! truely a magical place, great shots too...
Thanks for stoping by and for your comments :)
Those are some incredible shots. I would pay $32 to see some of those places.
Absoulutely unbelievable. I think you did a great job capturing the amazing place. I could stare at the sandstone walls for hours.
With such overpowering beauty - makes you feel small - thanks for sharing -incredible!
Geogypsy, great site. Susie of Arabia sent me to you. We both posted slot canyon photos today. I have some more slot canyon photos coming up over the enxt week or so. I went to the les crowded slot canyon on Navajo lands and you get there by Hummer Adventures. I will be back.
Wow!!! What an amazing place! Your photos are excellent. Thanks for taking us along.
So Beautiful!!
Beautiful!! That must have been such a fun day.
WOW, what a trip. I'm so excited to have shared your awesome (literally) time down there, but using exclamation marks seems like blasphemy. What a spiritual place it must have been. It's a wonder you managed to take pictures without people in 'em.
I was thinking about the dichotomy of life and death in that place. So beautiful and yet so dangerous.
Thank you for the post.
I'm sure there's not way to not be crowded on these tours, but it's SO incredible. I'm surprised at the price. Seems pretty reasonable to me.
You captured the textures, colors and light beautifully!!!!!
