I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Did you know that peacocks were used as guard 'dogs' in Turkey and probably elsewhere? They really make a racket when disturbed.
Cute, wonder how it got to that town.
We had 3 peacocks when we lived in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe now). Wow they make a noise!!! Love these photos though. Diane
How absolutely unexpected to see a peacock crossing the road - and at a cross walk no less!! Truly not the photos I would have expected. They are such beautiful creatures. Thanks for sharing!
Wish we could've seen him on our last trip through...
Ok - now I've seen everything!
Not something you expect to see in a small Arizona town! Too funny that he was using the crosswalk!
how fun!
and pretty ~
Cool sighting of the peacock. We have some neighbors that keep peacocks as pets. It is always nice to see walking around. Great shots. Happy weekend!
Peacocks are funny. They always act like they own the place.
Watch out for those peacocks--they're ornery types! We saw quite a few of them on safari in India but I remember seeing one once randomly roaming the country roads in California.
Funny post... looks like the peacock knows to use the crosswalk!
He's a beauty. It's always a pleasure to see a peacock. Our neighbor has half a dozen of them. We can hear their raucous cries once in a while. They hang out with the cows and eat seeds out of the manure. That seems all wrong for such pretty birds, but it's the truth!
Cute! BTW, doesn't blogger's spam detector stop your spam?
Every now and then I spot them at places around here, but I can't remember when last I've seen one fan out his tail
