I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Our World-Stretch

01 Scrub jay at feeder Yarnell AZ (1024x768)

Scrub jays, along with other birds, at the feeders provide great daily entertainment.

02 Rock squirrel on feeder Yarnell AZ (1024x744)

Occasionally a Rock Squirrel shows up.

03 Rock squirrel on feeder Yarnell AZ (1024x746)

It’s really a little too big to get on the feeder.

04 Rock squirrel on feeder Yarnell AZ (1024x734)

And it’s a big stretch from the branch.

05 Rock squirrel on feeder Yarnell AZ (1024x736)

But I guess it’s worth it in the long run.

I tried rving once in europe and loved it. I got a heart attack midway and had to give it up. I might try again another day but you are blessed that you can do this.

Love is sharing! Although the feeder's opening is small, the squirrel was able to squeeze in some food!

That last photo of him just looking at the camera and his body language is just priceless - like he's caught in the act! So cute!!!

Great shots of the Jay and the squirrels. Si, I am not the only one with squirrels all over their bird feeders. Thanks for sharing, have a great week!

Oh, I love your jay! Ours showed up this morning and was squaking away!

Feeders entice creatures they were not intended for. I throw seed on the ground for the quail but some still cling to the feeder. I try to tell them they are ground feeders but they don't listen.

That Jay looks so "tall" compared to ours. Squirrels are able to reach & stretch mighty far when free food is involved. Happy Valentine's Day, Gaelyn.

You really get the most beautiful and interesting visitors to your feeder and I'm sure they just love you for it.

As far as I know no squirrel has ever been born that's too big to get on a feeder. It’s a constant of nature! If you hang them, they will come.

Our squirrels have gotten very adept at eating from the bird feeder and ignoring our dogs who are screaming for blood underneath them.

Like all squirrels, he doesn't let a hard stretch stop him from eating you out of (bird)house and home! He's really cute and photogenic though, I wouldn't mind feeding him.

Sometimes it looks like a three ring circus out there! :)

Squirrels will find a way to get on those feeders no matter what. They eat a lot, too!

That squirrel reminds me of Homer Simpson who will go to any length for a free meal *laughing*.
