Part 16 Flying home from the Colorado River trip over Grand Canyon Day 5
After four glorious days floating 138 Colorado River miles it was time to return to the North Rim which meant flying over Grand Canyon to...
How cool first the rafting trip and then a flight over the Grand Canyon. What more could you ask for? I'm sure the views were just fantastic from the plane. Your photos are wonderful!

What a beautiful alternate view! Must be really interesting after having spent so much time there! How terrifying was the helicopter? They really trouble me, but I'm determined to ride one someday!
That is quite a scenic flight. I can't help but remember, though, that my uncle died when the pilot of the airliner he was in decided to show the canyon to his passengers back in 1956. Two planes collided with the loss of all on board.

An absolutely BONUS experience flying over the canyon and surrounding area you know so well. The awesomeness of this trip has no end.
JIm and I flew over the canyon in 1994 in a 16 passenger plane. It was a very grand view--breathtaking for sure. This trip of yours was amazing!
