How cool first the rafting trip and then a flight over the Grand Canyon. What more could you ask for? I'm sure the views were just fantastic from the plane. Your photos are wonderful!

I just read through your raft posts, looks like you had an awesome trip. Except for when they gave you the queen bee seat. So wonderful that you gave yourself this gift!

What a beautiful alternate view! Must be really interesting after having spent so much time there!
How terrifying was the helicopter? They really trouble me, but I'm determined to ride one someday!

How wonderful to get to see the Canyon from this viewpoint, especially after seeing it up close on the rafting trip. You lucky girl, you!

That is quite a scenic flight. I can't help but remember, though, that my uncle died when the pilot of the airliner he was in decided to show the canyon to his passengers back in 1956. Two planes collided with the loss of all on board.

So beautiful. Someday I want to do that. Along with a zillion other things on my list. :)

JIm and I flew over the canyon in 1994 in a 16 passenger plane. It was a very grand view--breathtaking for sure. This trip of yours was amazing!
