Part 12 Rafting the Colorado River Day 3–Counting Sheep while awake

For NPS employees a river trip isn't all fun and play.  We helped with wildlife inventory by counting sheep along the way...

Love that desert sky. We sometimes see sheep just over the hill from us; they need to be protected from the cars. What a cool place to see wildlife. They don't need to worry about being a highway casualty.
