The prescribed burns cause smoke to hang over the canyon which leads to colorful sunsets.

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Stunning. Amazing colours. Diane
How do you manage to find the best scenes, Gaelyn. Neat, beautiful and effective image for SWF. Have a wonderful weekend. (((Hugs))) Jo
Oh very nice!
Very beautiful shot!
It's interesting how much particles in the air influences the colour of the sunset. SMOG, ugly smog, creates gorgeous sunsets too. :)
Beautiful!
Happy weekend to you:)
it does make a beautiful sky
Beautiful capture of the sunset, Gaelyn! Usually it would be clouds that would help make the wonderful colors.
Wow!! That looks so amazing! What wonderful colors.
Luckily they have finished burning here in anticipation of the rains - which are LATE!! Love the colors in the pic. They are so soft and subtle.
wondeful view and sunset
Happy SWF! Have a good weekend,
Regards, Bram

Very nice. The smoke does color things up a bit.
Very pretty...I never get tired of these shots.
At least there is some advantage to the smoky air. The sunset is gorgeous.
