SWF - Sunrise at Grand Canyon National Park

You all know by now that I don’t do mornings very well. However, there is once schedule I work that gets me out there early, and I’m never sorry once I am.

I stopped to catch this gorgeous morning on my way to the office. And it was cold out.

But if you really want to see a cold, yet beautiful morning here at the canyon go to FabGrandma’s and check out what she saw yesterday morning.

An amber sunrise on a chilly morning is a great way to start the day!

I'm with you about getting up early.. it's not in my nature either, but sometimes it's well worth the effort, like it was here. Beautiful sunrise and what a great morning commute you have:)

I can just imagine that sunrise over the canyon must bring out the most awesome colours.
I'm not much of a morning person eother, but if I'm out there, I try to make the most of it with my camera.

Brrrr - that does look like a cold morning sky. Snow here in CO - the Loveland Ski area is open for business!

Who could not love seeing that sight every morning, Gaelyn.
By the way, the more I look at the picture heading the more I see snoopy sitting up and begging. Yeah, I see faces in wall paper and cracks in the wall.

It is a beautiful sunrise and is a great place to see the sunrise. The mornings are getting colder now. Thanks for sharing your skies.

That's one of the reasons I love pine trees, viewing the sky through them! Gorgeous images, all of them!

I saw that sunrise over by the picnic area, and didn't have time to stop for a pic, not even just one. Thanks for the link! Those bison in the snow were much more fabulous than that picture shows.

That's why they invented camera timers you know! (Actually, that probably wouldn't work ... ) Great photos by the way. Wow!

Its wonderful to rediscover in Nature that which once was neglected. May the skies lead us to the respect and understanding that all life and things that show themselves to us are precious and lovely as your sunsets have shown us.

I love the first one, with the sunrise peeking through the branches. Guess one good thing about winter is you don't have to get up so early to capture the sunrise. (not that I ever do! lol)
