Sky Watch Friday - Stormy Colorado

On my drive home

I lived for a summer in southwestern Colorado while working at Mesa Verde National Park. (More about that in a future My World.) During the monsoon season I learned about “intermittent” rain. The skies were always amazing as a front moved through.

Nice shot of that stormy looking sky. I realize now I haven't done my SkyWatch Friday shot yet.

Great shot of that rain. I would give almost anything to see that from my house. We need rain badly. That looks so good.

That sky does look so ominous but it's so atmospheric.
