I had never seen a cardinal until I went back east to visit family in Maryland. They are such a beautiful, vivid color! I was enthralled by the cardinal family living in my brother's yard. I'd love to just see a tree full of them.

I'm glad you made it back safely from Mexico. I hope everything went as planned (minus the cold) and I hope you get to feeling better soon. Stay warm and snug!

Wow, javelinas. How cool...

So you are where exactly right now? Snow? Strangely enough, we haven't had snow yet (except for once). I actually slept with my window open last night. Huzzah!

I agree the window beats a TV any-time. You are so lucky to have such an interesting group of birds and creatures to see.
I hope you get well soon and do not end up with this terrible cough that I have got. Take care and take it easy. Enjoy your window. Diane

Watching birds in my backyard is one of my favorite activities. Few things are more calming and relaxing that watching all the different varieties lining up for the feeders and sharing the birdbath. Sorry for the reason you were staying in, but glad that you had such good entertainment.

Critters are great entertainment. I think I'd rather view the javelinas from inside the house, I understand they can be unpredictable.

My mom and I were up friday on the way to the cemetery...Yarnell looked so pretty!. Lots of javalina all in one place...I wish cardinals would come down another 1500 feet ...and I have never seen a quail on a bird feeder!...

Discovery Channel, right out your window. (I don't watch TV either, but I do spend too much time staring at this monitor.)

Your birds and animal friends must really be grateful for the fact that you look after them so well. What kind of pig is that and do they occur there wild?

Hi - what a great collection of wildlife to see form your windows.

What an interesting group of visitors. You have had more snow than we have had in our part of Canada.
