I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

SWF – After the storm

01 Sun rays & Lodge BAP trail NR GRCA NP AZ (1024x768)

Last Tuesday soft female rain fell for hours into a canyon full of cloud. Day time visitors were disappointed. But late afternoon offered views of Grand Canyon as the last rays of sunlight illuminated the sky.

I can feel the rain...it rained here too, today. I never heard the expression 'female rain'!

I always like to see the sun's rays streaming through clouds!

SKY OF WONDER

Sky of wonder, sky of bliss,
Who would think a sky like this
Would permit my eyes to see
Sun and moon and stars for free?

Gorgeous, GL. I love the golden rays.

Sorry I have been MIA but I have been having such a good time with a fellow I met. I think I am happy. YAY!!

Weather here--close to perfect--blue sky--a few clouds and mid to upper 70s. Even an 80 today. WooHoo!! MB

I know the feeling of being a day visitor somewhere and having the day spoiled by rain, but I can imagine that for the locals it must be fantastic to have rain like that.

Always beautiful sunsets! I wish I could have made it to the North Rim on our trip (got to Bryce and Zion, but just ran out of time). Maybe next year...

Female Rain? I have never heard it described that way before but...now that I think of it...it makes sense!
