I love the monsoons, they are so exciting! When monsoon season is over does it heat back up?

Oh my, look at it come down! Most monsoon afternoons in my area, it clouds up, gets windy and maybe a little thunder...but it teases, hardly any rain falls!

Lovely captures of the monsoons over the Grand Canyon. The freshness after a downpour is such a delight, and the air gets cleaned.

Hi Gaelyn:
I've noticed the daily rhythm of the weather there in the summer too and I like it.. because you pretty much know how the conditions are going to progress throughout the day. Just before and just after the rain can see some spectacular scenes. I love those stormy skies.

does it get humid there during Monsoon? It does in Tucson and even in Utah. Just wondering. Beautiful shots. Are you trying to make me jealous? ;-)

Oh hey, this is kind of what our six weeks of touring the West looked like. And by "kind of," I mean "exactly."
