I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

SWF – Through the trees

Last week when Mike and I visited the cabin in the forest the views were just as good looking up.

01 Aspen Kaibab NF AZ (768x1024)

Aspen leaves glow like glitter under the sun.

02 Dead aspen Kaibab NF AZ (768x1024)

Even when dead, aspen looks sculptural against the sky.

03 Aspen with dead top Kaibab NF AZ pano (426x1024)

While this aspen struggles to stay alive.

04 Ponderosa Pine Kaibab NF AZ (751x1024)

Ponderosa pine spreads its branches.

To view more skies from around the world, or to share your own, go to Sky Watch Friday by clicking here.

Still doing research on the cabin, should have more soon.

We have aspen also and you have to be careful in the forest because they are so tall and rot out when their life span is over!! Great shotas. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Those are neat views to capture. Changing angles helps the viewer see different perspectives. Excellent!

I've learned from participating in SWF to look up, I'm glad you did. I sure do miss aspen trees. Something about them is very special.

Like old people, old trees are so much more interesting than mere saplings. Love the dark sky with little white cloud sailing by.

Thanks for your informative comment, I have since changed my post.

When I look at the dead snag I can't help but think of the life it brings to other creatures.
