I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

It's your birthday? Well happy birthday, Gaelyn. You share it with Hubby but you are a bit younger, he is 76.
That is a beautiful woodpecker, I haven't seen what with that golden color. You are sure having some good birding down there.

What a stunning animal! Of course I always get excited about seeing woodpeckers. Even if I'm seeing them everywhere I look on a hike, I get excited about each and every one. We don't have any with that striking yellow plumage up here, though. So cool.

Enjoy!!!!

Your trees have leaves and fruit----hey--well it is starting to leaf out here too.

I have been sicker than a dog the past few days. Why do we say that? How sick is a dog. My dogs aren't sick--just me.
I am NEVER sick--my first in years and I HATE it. MB

Happy Birthday. But if you didn't remind us we probably wouldn't have remembered. That's why you need to be on Facebook. Its a wonderful tool to be reminded of things like this. *wink* I hope you had as beautiful day as this bird is.
