SWF – Saguaro Sky

01 Saguaros BLM desert off Vulture Mine Rd Wickenburg AZ (1024x671)

There’s hardly anything better than the deep blue of an Arizona sky.

Unless it’s a few clouds to break up the monotony.

I have never seen sky that blue it is stunning. It must be the very clear air I guess. Diane

Blue skies are fine but I agree, they are more interesting with a few clouds for contrast.

It is hard to beat a scene like these. I remember having the shivers many a time at night on the desert. It gets really cold.

I can't find the blond wig and my daughter thinks it is storage so I may end up with a Santa Claus hat on my head during the Fox thing. I did get my hair cut this morning. I plan on taking a bath on Monday night.

Oh, I agree: There's nothing that beats the deep blue Arizona sky!

SKY-SEEKERS

The sky-seekers, some people say,
Do not favor night over day;
They always look up,
The sky is their cup,
And keeping it full’s their cachet!

Beautiful Arizona sky...I like the deep blue and cloudy one as well. It certainly does break up the monotony. Happy Sky Watch!

Great blue skies (like around here). But more so I like how all the cacti point skyward. I know that's what they supposed to do, but I like the leading lines.

I think 'Arizona' and I think 'cactus'. Great memory, this photo, of my time spent in Arizona.

Lovely photos of the saguaro cactus. Love the silhouette.

Except maybe the deep blue of an Australian one, but then again, we are pretty close to the desert here.

Wonderful with your prickly friends guarding the slope.

I will second that! And the awesome pattern of the cacti set against it, too! I have Arizona lust right now.
