Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Just checking in

Hello all. I'm loving every minute of South Africa yet often find it difficult to post.  But here's an update.

Glad you checked in. I've been a bit concerned since your last post. It sounds like your seeing a lot and your enthusiasm shines through your posts.
One more week? I've been wondering when you would be headed home.

No matter how much time you have for a trip it seems like it's never enough time to see and do all the things you want to. It's especially hard when you have a lot of distance to cover. But there is always a next time, and the second time is always easier to find your way around. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos after you get back home.

You have a bithday cake and some ice cream waiting for you here when you get back... Was going to hire a clown, But opted not to as I know you will be very tired... So I got the One Man Band instead. Do you think that was a bad idea?

Enjoy, and don't worry about us. We'll be here when you get back to the states.

True about a month not being long enough...or either are two... I always find I'm 'short' on something when I travel.

Gonubie is where my folks lived just after they got married - when they were one of only a handful of houses. Changed much since then. Glad you're having a great time.

I was a bit disappointed that we couldn't meet up, but realised it was getting late when I didn't here from you and actually said to the Damselfly that you should rather push on than still drive into PE to meet up with me. You may not have heard me, but you did get my thoughts it seemed.

Like Dale said, its spelled braai.
