I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

SWF - Arizona skies

Some of you have seen many of my colorful nightly sunsets, but of course no two are alike. My sunset view sets behind the Weaver Mountains, which I’ve recently posted about.

In fact, this was another view of the Weavers on one of my recent walks and I just had to add it too.

Hi Gaelyn, I think maybe it's hard to beat desert sunsets. I like the feathery sky, too.

Wow, Gaelyn! These are beautiful. The first photo looks very much like your header! That is a brilliant sky!

Your beautiful sunset has a lot of color. The Weaver Mts look intriguing. And they look (relatively) warm for hiking this time of year.

Great shots, as always! We had sun, then it clouded over...

I like the red and blue-gray colors in the sunset, I don't see that combo often. That tree in the second one sure is loaded with birds!

Every day is it's own work of art, isn't it? We just have to take the time to appreciate it, as you do. Awesome as always.. never a bad day in Arizona it seems:)

Your sunsets are always stunning! I love both of these photos. They each evoke such feeling. The first has so much depth in colour and texture. The second flows through the sky, as Bernie said, a bit like angels.

Some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever witnesses were in Arizona. Ah, you're making me miss Arizona something fierce! Lovely photos, Gaelyn...and also, thanks for bringing up some great memories.

Very nice capture of sunset. Just in time.

Lovely skies! The blazing focal point and smoky clouds in the sunset are particularly dramatic.

You could never show too many of those beautiful AZ sunsets -- we could use some of those up here where the sun hasn't peeked through enough this week to set. (Well, not so anyone could see it.)

I loved the cacti post as well! I have some pictures like that but you chose such a creative way to put them together.

I'm cold too and your last 3 or 4 posts have warmed me up! Thanks. Happy Wkend!
