On the drive to Laughlin, Nevada (see previous post) the sky was dotted with clouds and the ground with their shadows.

What a lucky day (or days) for this road trip. Such beautiful clouds and great weather.
Its raining here and will be through the weekend for the LA Marathon.
Gorgeous cloud shadows! Aren't they magical? Could watch them forever.

The cloud shadows are indeed magical and I never tire watching skies like this and the shadows they create! Terrific captures, Gaelyn! Hope your weekend is going well!

I like your first photo very much.
Regards and best wishes
Cloud shadows are always fascinating to me. Wonderful examples here!
Magical photos, I love them. Diane
It's so flat in FL we dont get that. I was amazed the first time I saw a rain storm roll cross the land out there and it didn't even hit the ground.
Beautiful long hung cloud shapes deepened with shadow! And such a stunning landscape!
I wonder if the desert got a little shower?
Cloud shadows! Very interesting!
Have a blessed Sunday!

The clouds are gorgeous, Gaelyn!
It has been a while since I was in Laughlin, but enjoyed it there. I remember it being very hot. You captured some very heavenly sights.
there's nothing like the wide open spaces and blue sunny skies of the West for creating these lovely roadside shadows. Something we NEVER see here in Florida. (I don't think about missing the Mountains until we get back to the West usually ... or until I see your blog, whichever comes first ;>)
Perfect skies for Skywatch Friday.
Beautifully captured. Thank you for your beautiful contribution to Shadow Shot Sunday 2.
Finding Beauty in a shadow. Have a blessed Sunday.

You get to see sooo much! Do enjoy your time off... soon you'll be heading back to the canyon and work, I suppose... ;-) Or, should I not remind you of that?
