Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Catching up from February

I’m still posting the trip to Grand Canyon’s History Symposium from the end of January.  Its not like I’ve been really busy.  (Shit, I never finished the posts from South Africa, two years ago.)  I’ve always had more ideas than time.

02 Birds out the window collage (1024x576)

I’ve spent a lot of February watching the birds and even participated in the GBBC for the first time.

03 Rainbows in my house (1024x576)

When the sun pours through my windows crystals catch the light and rainbows dance on the walls, floors, ceiling, and me.  Sometimes I try to catch them.

04 Sky views from window (1024x576)

Then the sun westers and slowly sinks behind the Weaver Mountains, I am drawn to watch the ever changing sky.  (Don’t mind the dirty window, I don’t have a maid.)

05 Drive to Prescott (1024x576)

Weekly trips to Prescott include the picturesque drive, visits to the dentist, thrift stores and groceries.

06 Horse drawn buggy at Gold Rush Days Wickenburg AZ (1024x768)

Berta and I went to Gold Rush Days in Wickenburg and wandered around the vendors.  (Post coming on this.)

07 Berta looking at elephant African safari display Cabela's Glendale AZ (768x1024)

We also went to Phoenix and on the way home, may have gotten lost.

In Cabelas.  (Yet another post.)

08 Wash Weaver Mts Yarnell AZ (768x1024)

Made it out of the house one sunny afternoon for a walk in the Weaver Mountains.  (See previous post.)

09 RV bloggers (1024x392)

Visited with fellow RV bloggers who are boondocking just below the Weaver Mountains in desert country. Kelly, Al & Pheebs from The Bayfield Bunch, and Pheebs and me with RV Sue. Very windy that day so we sat comfortably in Sue’s Casita.

10 Colorado Belle Casino Laughlin NV (1024x768)

Ended the extra long month of February with snow and a trip to Laughlin, Nevada with Berta. (More coming on that trip too.)

11 Rock squirrel at feeder Yarnell AZ (1024x768)

Maybe I was busier than thought. Like this busy squirrel.

Your sunset photos are always enjoyed here. Over spring break we get to go hiking down there at Painted rocks and the valley of fire. I am so looking forward to those sunsets.

You took so many great photos of your adventures, no wonder you didn't have time to post them! That squirrel is a sneaky one!

It looks to me like you have been busy. Love those sky shots, I can't see any dirt on the windows, you should see mine!!
The squirrel is cute but I am sure he is not supposed to eat the bird food!

Love the post! At least you have great ideas -- I have nothin' but time, and sometimes don't feel like I have any ideas at all. Your birds and scenery are amazing. (And we got lost in Cabelas (the original one) once! Know what you mean.

Sometimes one doesn't realise how little time you actually have till you need to use it. Its specially true with blogging. Just not enough time.
