The Johnson Canyon Road loop takes you through parts of the Grand Staircase Escalante but the turn off from Highway 89 in Glendale is difficult to find so..

Nice little road trip. I bet you are eager to see somewhere else soon.

Got to love that pink sand. I like the Eagle Arch, too.

I'm enjoying your vacation, Gaelyn! That arch is magnificent. Hope your weather holds - snowing here in CO.

It is an absolutely gorgeous area, and quite easy to get lost in, too (whether on purpose or by accident).

On the up-side you now know everything there is to see and do in Kanab

I hope that really was a 'dummy' hanging from the gibbet...!

Eagle Arch looks interesting, I guess the cartographer doesn't know his right from his left.

gaelyn, for right now I am content to be back east, but sometimes when I see some of your pictures it makes me want to move back to AZ. Gus would gladly go back if he was assured of a job. He loves it there. Wonderful tour!
