Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

A wonderful weekend

01 Golden aspen along SR67N Kaibab NF AZ (1024x740)

Thursday’s drive through the Kaibab National Forest was filled with color.

02 Road construction by Vermilion Cliffs SR89A E AZ (1024x361)

Ran into a little road construction, but enjoyed the view while waiting.

03 Mt Humphreys SR89 S AZ (1024x425)

Only a few clouds hovered over Mount Humphreys.

04 Sunset over Weaver Mts Iron Springs Rd AZ (1024x512)

Waning light welcomed me home.

05 Berta in setup Old Congress Days AZ (1024x768)

Berta and I had fun selling at Old Congress Days on Saturday. That is until a late afternoon wind caused hurried packing by all.

06 Rain SR89 N AZ (1024x650)

On the return trip drove through intermittent rain around Flagstaff.

07 Painted Desert SR89 N AZ (1024x768)

Then the sun returned over the Painted Desert.

08 Vermilion & Echo Cliffs SR89A N AZ (1024x512)

Yet clouds built up over Escalante as I approached the Colorado River.

09 House Rocky Valley N from overlook SR89A W AZ (1024x768)

And House Rock Valley to the north.

10 Sunset thru 2006 Warm fire SR67 S Kaibab NF AZ (1024x768)

The sun westered as I sped by the old burnt forest.

11 Golden aspen SR67 S Kaibab NF AZ (1024x684)

And the turning aspen held the last glow.

So you also have road construction waits, like us? I'm doing a section of our SA bike trip with stops like this later today! The Painted Desert sure lives up to its name, hey Gaelyn. Images are so beautiful, I felt I travelled with you. THanks! (((Hugs))) Jo

Looking at these landscapes I can surely understand why you want to live there. It is beautiful.

The market looks like it could produce some real discoveries for collectors.

What glorious pictures when the sun came out.
Hope you had a successful trip with good sales that covered more than just your petrol.

I have always enjoyed the Arizona scenery. I assume the Old Congress Days is like the flea markets we have around here? Your photos are beautiful. Have a great day!
