Escalante - one of my favorite (vast) places! The last time we visited, it was late Nov and chilly. Looks like you met the white stallion! (Some little kid is bummed!) Good Luck on the truck repairs.

You do live in Cowboy country, Gaelyn. I remember Gunsmoke and am thrilled to see the spot it was filmed. Your photos are amazing. They look like paintings. Have a good trip. (((Hugs))) Jo

Sorry about the truck needing repairs. OUCH!

I do love photos of the wild west. It's so different from Central Ontario!

If you can get to Lick Wash (on the Skutumpah Rd), you will find a real nice hike meandering beneath the White Cliffs.

As often happens in the blogosphere, I happened onto your blog from another I was reading, and I'm thoroughly enjoying your posts. Who knows - perhaps I've even met you at the North Rim on one of my visits there. Happy Travels!

I wouldn't want to go around dodging bullets either. The movie set seems like an interesting spot though.
