Just never know what kind of wildlife might be seen driving through the forest.
Young Merriam turkeys follow an adult.
This lone beefalo didn’t know which side of the road to run to.
At first I thought this was a stump critter.
But I saw movement and stopped for a closer look.
My first golden eagle seen on the Kaibab Plateau.

You get to see some great stuff out there.I've never seen a Golden Eagle close up like that before.
I've never seen a golden eagle, at least not one I could ID with certainty. Lots of turkeys, though, sometimes wandering through my yard.
I love the videos of your runs through the rapids and the double rainbow is amazing.
How exciting to see a golden eagle! You always need to keep your eyes peeled when you're driving down the road because you never know what's going to pop up.
Isn't it wonderful when you meet the unexpected?
For turkeys, they are remarkably pretty birds and the bemused buffalo is a dear. Congrats on the eagle too.
Keep looking and snapping!

Very nice, especially the turkeys and golden eagle!
I've seen wild turkeys in the Kaibab forest a few times. They're always fun to spot, and really nice to get photos!
If it's the first one you've seen there it must be an awesome sighting
