According to the Bumbleberry Bakery, “A Bumbleberry is a Burple and Binkel berry that grows on a giggle bush.” The size of the berries are determined by the heart of the picker, the bigger and happier your heart, the bigger the berries. Yet most important is that when the berry becomes ripe, it giggles. And if you’re eating a Bumbleberry at that time you will spend the rest of your life giggling.
The pie is delicious. (Giggle, giggle) Purchased in Springdale, Utah on the way to Zion National Park.
I have so much catching up to do on blogs, mine and yours. My old HP went terminal so I have been out of touch. Now have an ASUS G74Sx to get all set up.
Of course I was also gone for a week hiking down to Phantom Ranch.
Then spent four days rafting the Colorado River.
I haven’t figured this new Live Writer out so things aren’t really looking like I’d like them to. Hopefully this time I can get this to post.

In May 2008, I had pie at that same place. I'm looking for a new laptop - maybe you can give us a review of yours. Thanks.
Pictures of the Grand Canyon can never be less than wonderful!
That pie looks good. Looking forward to your catch up posts particularly the rafting on the Colorado river. I hope your new HP is better than my new laptop. I am not really happy with it and resort back to my old laptop quite often!! Diane

Looking forward to blogs about the river trip!
Live Writer is great and the new version is easy to catch on to.
The river trip sounds pretty exciting and your bumbleberry pie looks delicious. Loved the story that went with it.
I can not wait to see your photos of the river trip. You and Mike need to come over for dinner soon! I miss ya!

I am also excited to see the river trip pics. Like you I'm also getting used to a new laptop, but my posting haven't changed, so I find it odd that your's look different.
Gosh, all that pie, the views, your new computer...too much for me, ha, ha, giggle.
Looks so tasty and yummy!

I want some of that bumbleberry pie! It looks wonderful. Eat a few more pieces and it will help you deal with getting your new laptop up and running. I love the photo looking down into the canyon and the photo on the river! I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Welcome back! That banner photo is magnificent!
That pie looks *scrumptious*... and the blog banner photo? Wowwwww!!
Ah, Gaelyn, I miss your happy face and friendly comments! Hope you get it all working real soon. Have no idea what all those letters mean in regards to what you purchased but I sure hope it works out for you!
Your teaser brings back memories, I'm looking forward to more images of your journey.
My mouth is watering just looking at that pie - YUM! It sure looks like you have been busy, nice new PC and I bet the 4 days rafting were amazing.
Sounds like you've been having too much fun, Gaelyn! (And lots of laughs.)
I thought I was finally going to get out your way..visiting a friend and wildlife rehabber. We were going to do things that 2 people with disabilities can do...but she passed away suddenly in June...Maybe some way..some how....Michelle
I too have a lot of catching up to do. Have been on the road for 10 days and are heading homeward tomorrow.
