I am a traveler. So, I take a lot of photos while driving.
The sky captures my attention as much as the terrain.
Moving along from 35-65mph brings the changes on rapidly.
I was on my way off the Kaibab Plateau down through the pinyon/juniper woodlands.
Descending into the desert to Kanab then west to Saint George.

From the coolness of the Kaibab Plateau to the blast furnace of St George valley. The ponderosa pines look refreshing.
I love the second-to-last photo with the plateau in the distance like a mirage. I'm sure you heard of the Grizzly attack in Yellowstone. Seems the bear was protecting her young.
Gaelyn, they are all beautiful sky photos. I like the clouds formation in the first shot and I love colors in the next to last shot. Happy skywatching!
These are beautiful! You really can't stop to take photos of everything when you're traveling, and the on-the-move shots often turn out amazingly well.
Wonderful captures - I especially love the first photo, those trees shooting straight up to that wonderful sky. Lovely contrast. Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your comments. You live a very interesting and quite fascinating life.
Pretty shots, and of course, that last one of the clouds is AMAZING!! Very beautiful. Mickie :)
You've captured some very nice shots, Gaelyn. Its always tricky driving and shooting at the same time. :)
Excellent work. Some very nice captures here. Have a great week-end.
Gorgeous sky!
My Sky Watch, have a happy weekend!
these are fascinating shots...the changing moods and cloud formations are very interesting to watch.
Great skies Gaelyn. I do the same, driving is a great place for sky shots.
Beautiful!
Such beauty!!! Your home views are sooo precious!
Such fabulous skies!
Fun series! The colours in the second to last photo are scrumptious and the terrain looks so inviting.
Beautiful skies. I, too, enjoy watching the sky change as I drive.
Road trip! I love it. Is there a story to go with the dead trees in the first photo?
