This should stand for “A Good Services” because that’s what I got from Daniel, his wife Danielle and their 2-year old Danny. (Apologize if I spelt any names wrong.)
A.G. Services is where I was towed to by another nice couple, Rose and Luis, from Affordable Towing. Daniel replaced the burnt battery cable and fixed the electrical short on my truck this afternoon. And if the job couldn’t have been finished today they would have let me stay in my camper for the night, with an extension cord.
This marvelous young couple recently bought this motor repair business. I couldn’t even find them online or in the yellow pages. Sure glad Good Sam found them.
Danielle wants to paint some old mowers they bought in flashy colors with flames, and racing stripes and such.
So tonight I’m back at the Lost Alaskan RV Park and tomorrow I’m visiting with friends in town. Then back on the road again.

Yay! You are back on the road! Nice to know there are still good and decent mechanics and people out there.
it is always nice to find an honest, affordable mechanic when you need one.

I'm glad you've now finally been sorted out. I sure hope you will take that other guy on.
Stunning sunset to end the day off with.
Glad to hear all is well and that you are back on the road again. That sky in the last photo is stunning. Diane
What would we do without mechanics?! There will always be jobs for them. Sounds like you met some really nice people who helped you out. Hope it's smooth traveling for you now.
Great that is was not a huge repair and you were in good hands!!I guess the brakes failure was related to the electronics as well?
Thats one terrific sunset photo!!
Safe Travels-
Finding good help is not easy to do. So glad they were there to give you a hand.
Kudos to the good people out there. Thanks for introducing us to the wonderful couple. MB
Daniel, Danielle and Danny? What if they have more children? They've painted themselves into a corner.
Nice folks, though. :-)
I had to google Alpine, TX; a bit off the beaten track but I imagine that is part of its appeal. It sure has pretty sunsets.
Oh, I am so glad everything is fixed and all better!
I love their names, how cute that they are all so similar!
What a spectacular sunset, a true blessing to the end of a bit of a hiccup.
Hooray! You're back on the road!
We hear so much negative news that it's easy to believe nobody cares anymore, but the reality is there are so many good people out there who are willing to go the extra mile to help out someone in need. You never know when you'll be the one needing help, but many opportunmities present themselves to us to lend a helping hand to others. I do believe that good deeds get paid forward, and I know that you have been the one helping others when they needed it, and that was paid forward to you. Enjoy the rest of your journey!
Gaelyn, I'm so glad it all worked out. Thank God for good people! Nice to know there are still some around! Love the sunset!
I am so happy your truck is back on the road. It is great that met nice people in Texas. I'm sure they are everywhere too. Beautiful sunset photo.
It is great to hear good news for a change! A lovely sunset, I hope you enjoyed your visit.
