SWF – Bluegrass sunset

01 Sunset Congress AZ (800x538)

A couple weeks ago Mike and I joined his brother’s family at a Bluegrass concert put on at their local elementary school.

02 Sunset Congress AZ (800x411)

The sunset put on a brilliant backdrop for a little foot stomping and hand clapping.

03 Special Consensus bluegrass band Congress Elementary School AZ (800x463)

The Special Consensus band also put on a show during the day for the kids.

04 Sunset Congress AZ (800x400)

They were good, but I think the sunset stole the show.

What a cool event for the elementary school to have and what absolutely gorgeous Bluegrass Sunset images you captured!

Almost as good as the sunsets at the Canyon with music as a bonus.

Well, Gaelyn - what can ever beat a great sunset? Love the fiery red in the last shot.

I like the consistency of silhouettes and cropping of the bottom three pics. Nice touch.

A little bluegrass music sounds fun, but the sunset was magnificent.

I love bluegrass, although I've almost never seen it live. I also love sunsets like this one!

I love concerts and this seems like the ideal setting for one.

I love Bluegrass, and with these skies, wow.

If the band and the concert was anything like the sunset it would have been a great evening.

I think I've actually heard that band live. They tend to play small venues. That sunset was amazing. How warm is it there?

The band may have been good but you are right it was a DF sunset. MB
