DSCF2392 (1024x644)

Returning from last weeks grocery run in Page, Arizona we descend down a big hill past the most beautiful red rocks. Just part of what makes the journey better.

Gaelyn - This could pass for Red Rocks Park near Morrison, CO. The sky is so blue!

There is one chunk of sand right before you drive through those cliffs coming back from page... It looks so soft I always just want to run barefoot through it... Can't trample on that cryptobiotic soil though :)

This is a gorgeous photo--spectacular scenery! This is what I love about "out West-" deep blue sky, maybe a puffy white cloud or two, red rocks, sage green; landscapes that make the heart soar.

They are wonderfully red. Does that make sense? MB

They are beautiful, I can make so many images out of the rock formation which makes them even more interesting. Diane

The "rock" is beautiful. It is so nice when we have something beautiful to look at as we journey along the roads isn't it? Have a wonderful week.

Loving the red rocks! I remember seeing the red rocks of Sedona for the first time as well. Kinda reminds me of the red clay of Alabama...but harder. That bright blue sky, bright white clouds and stunning rocks and greenery. It's picture perfect.
