I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Absolutely wonderful captures my dear. Especially the lightning shot. Your header is a beauty too. You are having some fantastic summer storms lately.
Wonderful photos. I have tried so many times to get lightning but have never managed it yet! I am jealous. Diane
The trick to capturing lightning for me has become video then pull out the single frame.
Gaelyn: Very nice lightning capture. I haven't done this shot yet.
Wow. The Greatest Show on Earth. I, too, have never captured lightning. Amazing sequence. Amazing life! Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you kept your camera handy. Things seem to happen fast at the canyon.
Wow! for that crack of lightning, Gaelyn. And the other photos are just as stunning. Thanks for visiting my blog even though I've been scarce. Hope to be online soon again. Have a wonderful day. (((HUgs))) Jo

Great captures, especially the lightning. I've got a number of lightning photos on my blog, they're tough to catch but it can be done with a long exposure.
Thank goodness for movie maker!
You caught lightning! Wow! I would love to see a storm over the canyon like this...never have. I can imagine the drama played out!
I stand in awe of your photographs this week.

Oh I LOVE this post Gaelyn!! You really captured some great images here.
Oh my! As if the Grand Canyon wasn't enough, you had to add a stormy sky and then a lightning bolt!!
Hi Gaelyn, I am a first-time visitor (but not the last) and followed the trail (sorry bad pun) from the Wlaine's Artic View. We had severe thungder+lightning storms here on the VA eastern shore last night and your shots were amazing to see. THANKS. Do feel free to drop into our little blog anytime...
