Friar preaching to the congregation
I see people shapes in the deep canyons of Cedar Breaks National Monument.
Just clowning around
Do you?
The early morning views from Point Supreme provided some interesting shadows.

Yes, I definitely see the people. Your caption on the first one is absolutely perfect!
Gaelyn: It is a beautiful place and I see him.
Each visit here leaves me breathless, Gaelyn. Yes, I see people! Wow. Simply wow.
Great shots and caption, gotta get there someday.
When you zoom in on the first pic, the head of the center figure is actually Garfield the cat made in stone... Zoom in on the figure about 10 o'clock on the ridge behind and you can see a giant gnome... That place was really sweet wasn't it?
what an enviable job u have!
They DO look like people!
Yep! I see the preacher!
Stunning shots. What an amazing part of the world you live and work in!
fanstastic rocks
I see them too Gaelyn and it makes it more interesting like cloud shapes. :)
These remind me of formations (albeit a bit smaller) here in Southern Serbia. I will send you a link!
They really look like people standing there listening to the preacher.
How sad it will be when weathering takes place and reduce them to a pile of stones.
Those really are very distictive figures. The must be all kinds of stories and superstitions about them.
That first photo is quite spooky the 'people' look so real:) All great photos. Diane
Oh, my, yes, there are people. The preacher has been talking so long he has turned everyone to stone. Fantastic photos!
I can definitely see the preaching friar and his audience.
Beautiful unique scenery!
