Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Visit Grand Canyon’s North Rim

01 Delux cabin NR GRCA NP AZ (1024x767)

Western Cabin

You could stay in one of the almost 100 cabins available reserved through Forever Resorts. But think about making planning way ahead.

I’d love to show you around.

Gaelyn, we were just at the north rim on Thursday last week! We stopped at Bright Angel point, walked around the porch of the hotel, went to the gift store, and then drove out to Point Royal and Imperial Pt (?) the loop...I thought about asking about you, but didn't want you to be bothered! Next trip, I promise!

I'd love to show up with the family and meet you.

When I was a kid, long time ago, we always went to the North Rim. Much more remote and much less crowds than on the south side. I'm assuming that it is still that way.

Might take you up on that...prices aren't too bad if you share. A friend and I may mosey down the coast one of these days when I get my act together and also stop working!

Neat looking cabin or rather a house.
I have stayed in similar but smaller cabins on the Chetco River in Oregon.
I probably will never make it to the Grand Canyon I'll have to make do with the coulees in EW. MB

Looks cozy! But I think we'll bring our Scamp... I bet the way in advance means two years out!

So we spent the last three weeks babysitting guinea pigs for a family, and do you know where they went? (among other places) To the Grand Canyon!! I told my daughter that I have a friend who works there, and I don't think she believed me.

It looks quite cozy. I wouldn't mind moving in.
