You sure got some fantastic pictures my friend. Strangely enough that spider looks just like one someone sent me to identify. This must be a very well known one. :) Sorry, but I still have not found a book on them or found someone to do the identification for me.

I was just lucky with the Goshawk in that I had the longer lens on.

Thanks Mountain.mama. You are welcome to come over anytime too and I will take you there. I love showing people around our lovely country.

The waterfall is beautiful, as are your photos of the surrounding rain forest. Love the spider with his egg sac.

Very different from your Arizona pictures. Greenery, moisture, fungi, African Goshawk, so wild and wonderful!

Oh WOW, Gaelyn;) I've never been here. We're planning a bike trip (with new bike awaiting collection in July!) to Mpumulanga. Hopefully we'll get as far as this area in the short time allocated on this trip. Thanks for sharing. (((Hugs))) Jo

Interesting spider shot. Well all the shots are interesting. How neat that you were able to go to South Africa. MB

What a sight those falls are. That alone probably was worth the long trip! I've really enjoyed these photos.

There really are so many waterfalls in Mpumalanga as well as in Natal, and I haven't explored either of those very well. You are shaming me as far as seeing the northeastern part of this beautiful country of mine.
