Diverse walk in the Weavers

I’ve been home in Yarnell this weekend and it feels like summer. (Especially compared to the snow on the North Rim.)

Cactus blooming…

Every where I turned something caught my eye.

What a beautiful world we live in.

We can look down on the world from above,

The sun reflects on one flower,

The old stalks may lean towards the earth…

…while the young reach for the sky.

And the cactus flowering. I've never seen cactus flower in all the times I went to the South West

Looks like Weaver Mountains is brimming with interesting plants and wildlife. Great capture of the turkey vulture in flight and dragonflies.

Its like an illistrated poem. Its amazing how people like you spot all the detail, while so many others out there would never stop and smell the flowers.
