Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

SWF – Sunrise in South Africa

DSCF5024 (800x600)

Sunrise over False Bay from Moonglow B&B, Glencairn, ZA 6:19am

My last day in South Africa I felt like a bloody tourist, not my preferred mode of travel. Yet with only six hours before heading to Cape Town International airport I tried to get in as much as possible and got an early start. Very soon I’ll be posting more about this most awesome of journeys.

No April Fool's joke, we're glad to have you home. A bitter-sweet occasion for you, I'm sure, glad to be home in the arms of the one you love but thinking of all the things you didn't have time to see.

Welcome home, we look forward to more of your great shots!

I must have a twisted mind. That first photograph looks like three stars have fallen from the sky on to the path in front of you.

You are a tourist! But that's not always bad...next time you go back, you can count yourself as a non-tourist.

Anyway, I especially like the bottom shot, from a place close to the bottom of the world.
