Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

SWF - Greeting a new day and year

12-29-09
Seems like I’m getting up earlier lately and was gifted with gorgeous sunrises two mornings in a row.

12-30-09
If I get in my truck camper and stand on the bed looking out from the emergency hatch I get a great view of the morning light.

To see more skies from around the world, or to share your own, visit Sky Watch Friday by clicking here.

As we move into 2010 I once again wish for peace and understanding amongst all people, happily living in harmony with the land. Happy New Year to all of you, may your heart’s desires come true in the following year and beyond.

My phone line was cut, maybe by the javelina, the other night so I haven’t been to many blogs lately. Hopefully this will be fixed before next year and I can try to catch up. Please know you are all in my thoughts.

Wonderful sunrises Gaelyn! I would love to wake up and see sunrises with your scenery.

Hi Gaelyn, Thank you for the good wishes for the New Year. I hope the Javelina aren't getting even for the fence! Funny that you don't even have to leave the camper to watch the sun rise.

What beautiful sunrises! It's funny to think of all the things we do to get good shots. I'm considering a ladder for some of the icicles, but then again, maybe not. Best wishes for the next decade!

Wonderful view! I love both of those sunrises, but I find it really hard to stop looking at the first one as the clouds are so captivating!

It's nice to be able to see such vistas without leaving home.
May you enjoy a wonderful New Year as well. Ejoy the peace of no phone or internet, I'm sure they will return soon.

Simply beautiful Gaelyn. It doesn't look like we will have a view of the full blue moon tonight. The rain is dancing as I type.

Hey.. that's the easy way to shoot a sunrise.. just park in the right spot and spend the night; don't even have to get out of bed. I should try that:)
Happy New Year to you... and beware the Javelinas:)
