I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

MWT - Christmas is coming...

These beautiful packages arrived in a box unexpectedly from Stacey at Do What You Love. She posted here about the fun she has wrapping packages and I’m convinced. In fact, they are too pretty to open. But I’ll bet curiosity will get to me. Thank you so much Stacey!

I really haven’t “done” Christmas in several years. Oh yes, I get together with a few dear friends to share a meal and lovely companionship. None of us give gifts in the material sense; instead our gift is love and compassion for each other. Isn’t that really what it’s supposed to be about, every day?

I am so very happy that you like your gifts! It brings me such joy to share with my friends. I hope you enjoy them just as much when you do open them! =)

Have a beautiful holiday season Gaelyn! And enjoy the loving company of those who are near and dear to you!

The warmth of great friendship is really what Christmas should be about...you are so right. This is a package wrapped with a loving heart. I would try to unwrap it in the least "destructive" way possible. Enjoy the spirit of the holiday season...

I'm with you! We haven't 'done' Xmas in awhile, with the kids a long way away. But my son and GF are coming this Xmas Eve. We don't usually have a tree. Ah well. Your photos are lovely! Such fun!

Stacey definitely has a gift (no pun intended!). Now no peeking before Christmas... My best friends and I make a donation to a Charity at Christmas. I like your toy VW bus, Gaelyn!

Such beautiful packaging. I never got the hang of clever wrapping. My packages always look like they were wrapped by bag lady.

I used to enjoy wrapping gifts, but they weren't nearly as beautiful as the ones you received. Those trimmings are keepers!

The gift of beauty and unstressed companionship. A great way to enjoy the holidays.

Stacey is very talented. I could not do half as good a job.

Those are the kind of gifts that make me feel special--the ones I am not expecting to receive. The wrapping is gorgeous!

Everybody does Christmas differently. As long as Christmas is in your heart for the right reason.
ps. don't forget to tell us what you got.

Beautiful wrapping! See if you can hold out till Christmas for the unwrapping:) What if it's chocolate, or something like that? just teasing.

And you even have a little Christmas tree. When you described what you do on Christmas...isn't that what celebrating Christmas is about - sharing yourself with friends and significant people?

Very warming words about you and your friends' view of giving. Here's wishing you more lovely days this season!

Nicely wrapped. My gifts (the ones that I wrap) come out mediocre at best. Merry Christmas Gaelyn!

What beautiful packages, they are too pretty to open! At least you have pictures to remember them by. I'd like to celebrate Christmas without presents but have been unsuccessful in getting my family to cooperate. Methinks I spoiled my kids too much when I was Santa.

That sure is one pretty package. I too share your opinion of just sharing love, caring, etc. for Christmas.

I like your little VW camper!

I love your very neat, little Christmas spot! Colorful and cheery. We have lights on our elliptical machine!

I like the festive corner of your RV. You celebrate Christmas in the best way.

Your Christmas sounds wonderfully genuine to me, enjoy it. A present like that says: "I am from the givers heart", as Christmas gifts should be.
