SWF - Sunset over Laughlin

Even though I haven’t finished sharing all of my adventures in Death Valley, after I left there I met Berta in Laughlin, Nevada. Neither of us are much for gambling, but it’s a nearby place to get away from home and stay in a hotel with Jacuzzi for a very reasonable price. This shot was taken from our sixth floor hotel room window.

Oh, what a lovely sunset it is, Gaelyn! Terrific shot! Worth putting up with those gamblers and jacuzzis, huh? I love it!

Happy SWF!

Pretty view from the hotel window. Good that you stayed away from the gambling dives.

Wispy clouds over the hills, great sunset and bright lights in the city. Best of both!

Do I see a "Golden Nugget?" (green sign) We have one near me, but it's strictly buffet, no games. And that's perfectly fine by me.

I like the colors in this photo.

It is a convenient place to stop and I recall a great sunset as well. I didn't get a great shot like yours, though.

This is a neat photo, combining the gentle colourful light of nature with mans bright lights. Sounds like a nice little get away! Its always good to change our scenery.

Ok, so maybe not Las Vegas, but to me it looks close enough. Great pic. The lights compliment the sky.

Oh, the joints of Nevada - great picture of the sunset. Hopefully the sunset was as exciting as the other activities in town.

I have never been there. Looks a little like Reno. Bright neon lights. Really pretty colors. Sounds like a nice change from the RV or your new pad.

We like lights and shiny objects. They are symbols for something that can be found within us. Like a mirror, what we see is the opposite of what is going on. So if we see something in the external world that we like, we can look for its counterpart that is within us, and then we will feel satisfied like a true winner that gambling can not provide.

Jacuzzi sounds great.... I love to pamper myself when I go to a hotel. I fill up the tub with lots of bubbles....

Not a bad view either!

I like the wispy clouds. The ground lights are brighter than the sky. Enjoy the luxury before you hit the road again. MB

It was worth the price to enjoy the jacuzzi and views.
You did hit the jackpot with that beautiful sunset, Gaelyn.

Very nice sunset. You need to get a jacuzzi for your trailer.

So THIS is what Laughlin looks like. My sister and brother-in-law wanted to take me there last time I visited Phoenix. Now I can say I've been there through your lens. LOL
