Sunrise from Stovepipe Wells campgroundBeing in California put me in a different time zone so I awoke early enough to greet the day and prepare for hiking in Mosaic canyon.
Description
I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Can't wait to see them too Gaelyn. That marble is beautiful but your sunrise is stunning!! Congrats for being up so early. :)
Great sunrise! You are so lucky to be able to enjoy those areas. Have a great time!
Joan, sure glad I caught that sunrise as it was the only colorful one while there. See, I can get up early when motivated. I could barely keep my hands off that marble.
The sunrise photo is amazing! I have never been to Death Valley, so I am enjoying the view!
Gaelyn, your adventures never cease to amaze me and thank you so much for sharing them.
Smiles
Pant, pant....I'm exhausted after that hike - LOL! Thanks for yet another fascinating adventure, Gaelyn. Love the marble and sunrise and the entire tour.
I love the first sunrise image - and the emotional and mental journeys your blog always takes me on. I can only imagine the wonder of the journey is all the more intense and wonderful from your van!
Stunning, just stunning that first picture, and I did so enjoy the hike, makes my hip hurt just to see you there.
I thought you would always be an early riser - the day is half over and the fishing has slowed by the time the sun comes up!!!! Great pictures especially the sunrise. I love them.
Beautiful sunrise, and great vast views.
I love these pictures. Wish I was there.

Gaelyn, what a sunrise to wake up to! That alone would have made my day!
Looks like you may have found a new park to work for over the winter months. Did you go to the hot springs too?
The others said it all for me. Death Valley is on my list of places to visit again.
You said it---outstanding beauty and the colorful sky--WOW!! MB
Wow, what a beautiful sunrise! It looks like you had a fun adventure. Death Valley is such an amazingly unique place. I would like to explore it more some day, and get to see some of those interesting formations that you featured here.
What a sunrise! Also, I enjoyed the photo of you in Mosaic Canyon.
That sunrise picture is gorgeous -- I would love to incorporate those colors into a knitted hat or sweater.
What interesting geology.. I think a rock-hound hides out in me somewhere.. Michelle
Now this looks like a dry, hot place with lots of interesting things to see. Bring it on.
Gaelyn: I would like to see that place one day.
The SUNRISE! That alone was worth the trip.
