The Grand Canyon always makes me feel so small, so insignificant. Have a lovely, wonderful hike with friends!

Girl, I am really proud of you to do this again, twice in one season. I wish I had what it takes to do it.

You're taking time to see and enjoy it and that's very good. It sure is a long, long way down and back up again. Take tons of photos, please, ;-)

Happy Hiking and Camping, Gaelyn! I look forward to seeing your fall photos of the Canyon when you return from this adventure. (Hope you can take some of Indian Gardens - I camped there one night many years ago when we got a permit for backpacking 7 days in the Canyon.I thought it was beautiful.)

Have lights of fun as you go deep into the past. Bring back lots of goodies to the surface to process and to share with the world Gaelyn.

Gee, can't imagine why you don't want to do that all in one day when you can enjoy it so much more at a human's pace!

I knew it was a mile up and down, but didn't realize it was 24 across.

There's really only one word for the Grand Canyon: wow!

I'm not much of a hiker when it's hot, but in autumn weather, this would be fun. I am all the more interested because you've shown such gorgeous places.
