Gaelyn, it sounds like a wonderful hike and it is nice that you do not have to rush. If it were me I would have to take my time. I hope to see some wonderful pcitures when you get back.
wow...an ambitious trek with your friend(s). nor would i consider it a one day hike...24 miles...eek. probably would take me more than 4 days... have a wonderful time. so enjoyed your photographs.

I'm not much of a hiker when it's hot, but in autumn weather, this would be fun. I am all the more interested because you've shown such gorgeous places.
The more I see of you blog, the more I want to visit the Grand Canyon. I am just amazed by the geology and its colours as well as everything else. I would never get bored listning to you on a tour.

Girl, I am really proud of you to do this again, twice in one season. I wish I had what it takes to do it.

Oh how much fun! Have a most wonderful trip, and enjoy the magic that is the grand canyon. Its such a great experience hiking down through there!
