I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Sky Watch Friday - Snagged a Grand Canyon Sunset

From Cape Royal trail looking southeast
I took this the night of Cape Royal sunset and posted that series here. They probably should have been my SWF post, but I just couldn’t wait. And this shot was taken on the walk back to my rig after the official sunset was over.

It is now definitely fall at Grand Canyon and the Aspen are turning gold. I hope to post some images tomorrow.

Beautiful photo. I really have to visit that country. You make it so inviting. Too bad teaching gets in the way of the fall there.
thanks.

The dark snag in front of those beautiful Grand Canyon sunset colors makes an awesome image.

Such a wonderful shot, even more so when it is enlarged and you can see the details. It makes me want to go back to spend some more time at the Grand Canyon. The first time we went there, I caught my first glimpse from the road and was honestly struck completely speechless. It's one of those places where the photos are amazing and the reality is absolutely stunning.

Thank you for sharing this great photo.

Hi Gaelyn,
This is an amazing shot of the Grand Canyon...
It should be framed and sold to visitors at the Grand Canyon shop or maybe the flea markets you like to go to...
Pam :)

It looks like a sunset could get tangled in that snag and maybe stay a little longer...
