Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Remember Whensday - I used to draw

This pastel was drawn on a brown paper bag to wrap a birthday present when I worked at Mount St. Helens back in the 1990s.

Sally from The (Mis) Adventures of Karl and Sally has started a new meme where the past is remembered through sharing old family photographs and this is #16. I love the idea and hope you will too. So join the fun by clicking here.

Very nice. Get those brown bags (if you can find any) and pastels out again. We are expecting some art work from you.

Gaelyn: You should not say used to and say I still draw. That is beautiful.

It looks like the volcano is relaxed and is smoking a cigarette after having gotten mad and blowing its top off.

With its insides exposed for all to see, it expresses easily that which arises, and gentleness reigns the day.

Gaelyn,
Hope to see more of pastel mountains from your hand!!! (pastel is great in such extreme weather conditions, and it can't spill!)
