Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Winter already?

Sunday evening it hailed very hard and the ground turned white. It was too dark to take a photo. Plus I was trying to greet my CouchSurfers. They admitted to bringing the hail with them. LOL

Today I saw this by the Administration office.

It's freezing in CA, too! (Well, for California, that is.) I'm currently all bundled up in a sweater, and I live in the WARM part of the peninsula! My mom said it hasn't' been over 70 in TN in a month (usually it's in the 100's this time of year). What give, Mother Nature?

It sure has been a strange summer! We have had hail a couple of times this summer not to mention tornadoes!

So, you're having some almost-winter while I'm noticing a bit of fall!

Oh WOW, Gaelyn, anything cold or icy looks strange to me in this unbelievable North African heat.

What???? Did someone shovel the hail in a pile? Tell me summer isn't over quite yet, Gaelyn. How long are you at the Canyon? My friends are hiking rim to rim in early Oct.

That looks suspiciously like snow, not hail. Uh, oh. I want autumn before I'm ready for winter!

I was also curious how long you stay, til they close the roads and entry to the N. Rim?

We have had cooler temps but I think it is still summer here in Georgia. I am looking forward to fall as it is my favorite season.
