Sky Watch Friday - Fog at Grand Canyon National Park

Roaring Springs Canyon
After the great rain storm last week temperatures dropped, even down in the canyon. The next morning we saw fog slowly rising out of the depths.

I would love to see this fog in person, Gaelyn. So - maybe fall is also arriving at the Canyon?

That is weird. That could almost be my island all this week. On a bigger, grander scale though.

II like the mystery created by fog. This is a magical shot.

I just read your previous post and I'm so glad you acted fast to cancel your card. And thanks for the warning. Hopefully all of your readers will learn from your mistake.

The sunsets on the rock strata are the best known images of the canyon, but it is beautiful in any weather!

Funny, I really enjoy watching fog drift...up, down, sideways... and the changing light on it and transparency as it starts to dissipate...I just love it.
