I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Sky Watch Friday - Storm over Grand Canyon

Bright Angel Point and Roaring Springs Canyon
This storm rolled over the canyon last Sunday. We have gotten a little rain, but not enough. This is monsoon season when the summer rains should quench the dry land.

To see more skies from around the world or to share your own go to Sky Watch Friday by clicking here.

Rain from the distance is always so interesting to look at. I wish I could send some of our rain...we have quite enough here :)

Is there any way you could transport the GC to Montreal. It's been raining non-stop here since April...

Rain is beautiful! And the canyon is, too!

That's a beautiful shot. I hope you will get the needed rain as well as the drama of the clouds over the canyon.

Pretty! So odd to see the sky on the other side of the storm.

I read the previous post- hope you got your wheel fixed. And, did you get any good photos while you were walking??

Just beautiful! We live in the state next door, but have still not visited the Grand Canyon. Such a stunning place, even with the moody skies.

You have an unfair advantage, Gaelyn - that's a heck of a backyard to have for a photo op.

Beautiful. I love your blog--sort of life I would have liked but Scotland does not have the weather nor the scope of country. We have some great wild places but much smaller in area and many are completely inaccessible with motorised transport.I will visit again.

Beautiful!

I've been enjoying your photos of the Grand Canyon...

In Oct/Nov, I'll be spending time in Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley, etc. I was thinking of stopping by the North Rim -- are there good views, worth the detour, up there?
