Sky Watch Friday - Morning Light at Grand Canyon

View from Bright Angel Point Trailhead
I’m not much of a really early morning person and when I have the early schedule I dread it. Until I get to the rim of the Grand Canyon and see the sun chase the shadows slowly down the canyon walls. Then I totally forget what time it is.

For more glimpses of skies from around the world or to share your own go to Sky Watch Friday by clicking here.

I love the West. It's the early bird songs and the sunrise that get me out of bed early. Beautiful pictures. Do you carry a camera with you on the job? I'll be following your adventures.

I love this sight.

Beautiful scene. I'm the same way with sunrises - never worth it until you get there, then totally worth it. And yet somehow I don't wake up for many! :)

Oh my word that is so pretty. I have always thought of that area as kind of brown. But, your photo shows it with such beautiful color.
