Sky Watch Friday - Parked in the Desert

When I was at Meteor Crater’s old visitor center Tuesday I parked in this lot also. At least my old rig wasn’t full of bullet holes.

Ae the bullet holes a necessary acsessory, or the results of shooting practice or is that a dangerous place?

A strangely awesome juxtaposition creating a very interesting picture.

It is amazing how the colors seem brighter and more intense in the desert sky.

Bullet holes? Not something I see everyday. This great photo reminds of CSI.

Great colors, but kind of eerie...reminds of scenes from No Country For Old Men.

We might all have bullet holes within us, but its good to get them fixed and plugged up as soon as they occur, that way we won't leak and lose too much energy.

Why do people always feel the need to shoot at old cars and signs. I think it says something about our society. I'm not sure what.

I hope there was no one in it when they used it for target practice? I have always heard of the Mafia burying their bodies in the desert. :)

You be careful now - we don't want anybody using your truck for target practise!!!

Amazing what you see sometimes in the desert.

It is indeed amazing what you see sometimes! Does make you wonder how and why the bullet holes, assume someone was practicing to be a better shot. But whatever, it's a gorgeous sky and lovely clouds!

Oh dear, did you have neighbors with large violin cases walking around? I hope it was a good place to camp. I love the red soil.
