Wow I like both photos, your countryside is amazing and I love the sky colours.
Happy SWF.

The patterns the clouds make in the sky are mesmerizing, and so fleeting. We will never see those same cloud formations again unless we photograph them. I like how you captured them.

I lived for a year or more in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. I even worked for a season at Joshua Tree. The Ocotillo are just fabulous in bloom. The desert is filled with fabulous gems.

I like the vertical lines of the clouds in the first photo. I have never heard of ocotillo. It has an unusual bloom.

Love that broad view of the desert and sky. Cacti are great, but desert scenery gets me every time.

Love the silhouettes and the great wide vista below Gaelyn

The prickly branches seem to be lying on a bed of cotton wool.

Before I buy my ticket, who will protect me from the creepy crawlies?

Looks as though the Ocotilla are reaching for the sky. Nice perspective! Have a great weekend.

Your photos always make me homesick. Both photos on today's post are awesome. I love the bright orange/red of the ocotillo bloom!

Human beings often assume beauty is limited to certain perception of color, texture, and other sensations that evoke discernable senses. In fact, beauty expands into forms and formlessness that human beings have yet to fathom or experience. To encourage humans to open their minds enables them to begin torecognize beauty in places they had not thought about before. You inspire open-mindedness and offer means to expand.
