I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

My World Tuesday - Supplement
When I worked at Oregon Caves National Monument I wrote this little ditty. The Bat in the Hat
That's really clever Gaelyn and fun to read. Breaking up a spat with a visitors brat.....brings a smile to my face.
So one of your totems or animal spirits is a bat. That makes good sense. You navigate very well through the dark and can see and identify with the souls that reflect back to you through echo location.
I got a kick out of your humorous poem describing some of your on-the-job experiences as a park ranger. Reminds me of Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat and Oh the Places You'll Go.

Very cute, Gaelyn, and it sounds as if it describes the job quite well!

Very nice Gaelyn. I could not put two words together even if my life depended on it. :)
Very cute and clever. It makes me picture your job and how you felt as you did it.

Cute poem. You sound as though you would be a fun co-worker.
This is cute and where it's at!
Gaelyn: That was really neat from the bat in the hat.
This is really clever and the story was told well in verse!
