I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

A Banana Yucca? Wow - I haven't seen one of those (or even heard of it until now). What an interesting plant. And you can eat teh flowers? I'm so intrigued!
I am sure everyone will be pleased for the warmer weather at last. I love these cacti Gaelyn. Next time please take a close-up shot of the flowers for me. :) I know you said they were taken last spring and I was not around then. :)
We have that same blue flower here and makes a nice ground cover in a garden too. That Parry’s Century Plant Is something I have never seen the likes of before and very interesting. Thanks for sharing all this.
Desert flowers are so stunning! I suppose it is the dry surroundings that make them stand out so.
Yes, spring is nearly here and it looks like you're finding interesting signs of it. I love it when some cacti deviate like that. Could your pretty mystery flower be Goodding's Verbena?
mmmmm, 70 degrees sounds nice. Even with a breeze, you don't have to worry about windchill!
Looks like the desert is alive with color.
I woke up to snow this morning
Those pictures are awesome. I loved "PBF". hehe And the banana yucca...how amazing. I have never seen or heard of the banana variety.
Really interesting subjects. I know you are just waiting until the desert blooms again. I love the explanations you give.
I love this time of year when the desert is in bloom. You're so lucky!
I've never seen a century plant at that stage. Very interesting!
